Underway Studio are a London based arts collective who work collaboratively to produce printed works. This limited edition screen print is from their Printed Spaces series exploring the architecture of London's cultural spaces.
The focus of this print is the Brixton Recreation Centre. The iconic 1980's building designed by George Finch in the centre of Lambeth, which provides a recreational hub for Brixton and the surrounding areas. Underway have played with its characteristic design by overlaying collage like screen printed images and shapes in blue and yellow.
