Dominic Harker

Artisan printmaker Dominic Harker unveils his new series of linocut prints.

Entitled 'Block Heads', the series takes inspiration from artists ranging from Picasso to George Condo. Dominic’s bold lines (and stylised abstract shapes) instantly usher to mind the iconic artworks of ancient Egypt.

Dominic hand-presses each linocut artwork onto "Hosho" printing paper. This paper (specially imported from Japan) is cherished by printmakers and art collectors alike, for its lavish and ink-thirsty texture. Each print is depicted in purposefully minimal black-and-white — empowering a strikingly graphic signature style.

A former student of Fine Art at UWE Bristol, Dominic has now exhibited at galleries and events all across England.
