Jo Angell is a print artist and designer who works from a garden studio in the shadow of North London’s Alexandra Palace. Her design career which began with film and theatre posters shifted after gaining an MA at Central St Martins in Textile Futures in 2008. There she found her aesthetic voice, and projects since then have included a laser cut shade canopy for a garden at the Chelsea Flower Show, award-winning wallpapers, textile designs, cards and fine art prints.
Jo Angell exhibited at Of Cabbages and Kings in 2019 with the show Awash, featuring a recent series of prints and paintings reflecting the interplay of land meeting water.
