The Ross Sea is an officially protected area of ocean near Antarctica. Since 2016 it has been named a marine park and is one of the last remaining areas of wilderness on the planet. Almost entirely free from pollution and human activity it has become home to a wide selection of flora and fauna. Caitlin Parks captures this in a six layered screen print that is full of life and movement. Cool blue shapes sit against illustrations of whales, penguins and other birds.
