With Lido Life, Anna Marrow stays true to the essence of her celebrated signature style: Hand-drawn imagery is imbued with deep nostalgia, while individual layers of screen printed inks add an abundance of heartfelt colour.
Because Anna handcrafts every one of her screen prints, each print in this limited edition is very subtly unique from all others. Anna pulls each layer of ink onto textured deckle-edge 350gsm Somerset paper. It’s made from 100% cotton, and features a satin finish.
As with many of Anna’s best received pieces, Lido Life cheerfully shuns reality in favour of possibility. It conjures an inspiring dream world where even the phrase “the sky’s the limit” may be over-cautious.
