Liz Loveless
Liz Loveless is an artist and designer, living and working in Clapton, East London. Liz uses a variety of printmaking techniques including collagraph, cyanotype and screen print to which she sometimes applies hand finishes in pen or collage. Inspired by a diverse range of subject matter and everyday objects, Liz's prints are often gently humorous. They can also tell a story, reflecting her interest in the nuances of human and animal frailty.
In 2004, Liz Loveless set up Factory Press - an independent publishing and design company. Under this name Liz also creates handmade, illustrated books, the first of which she put together for her post-graduate degree at Central St Martins and was published by Hyperion. Liz’s books are all silkscreened in limited editions and hand bound in cloth or card. They are little artworks in themselves.
