'Towers of London' is a diagrammatic view of the tallest buildings in London, amongst some other famous landmarks, juxtaposed beside each other to compare their relative heights.
There are 78 buildings and structures featured altogether. The tallest buildings include the Shard, Canary Wharf, Heron Tower, Tower 42, The Gherkin, BT Tower, the Walkie Talkie and Crystal Palace transmitter; other buildings include St. Paul's Cathedral, Tate Modern, the London Eye, Houses of Parliament, St. Pancras Station and Tower Bridge. The print includes an insert which lists the details (height, date of completion and architects) of all the buildings featured.
This is a digitally-enhanced reproduction of an original pen drawing by Mike Hall. All of the buildings have been drawn with a reasonable degree of accuracy and their heights have been plotted after research via various online resources.
