Jo Angell's 'Passage' series are abstracted prints reflecting her recent journeys and her obsession with both shifting light and shifting tides. Her sketchbook and paint brush takes her to places as far as Marrakesh, to closer to home in the Essex marsh and boat filled landscapes of the small riverside town of Wivenhoe.
Passage 2 is a moody combination of deep blues and oranges and overlaid abstracted nautical shapes which build up a dynamic scene.
