Mad Hatter's Tea Party

Posted on 19th Aug 2011 @ 10:50 AM

As part of this year’s Craft Trail at the Thames Festival, Of Cabbages and Kings will be teaming up with the Creative Biscuit Ceramics Café to bring you a wonderful adventure in Wonderland.

Join us at our ‘Mad Hatters’ tent, tucked between Tower Bridge and London Bridge for all-day afternoon tea and a look around our curious little shop. South Woodford’s Creative Biscuit Ceramics Café will be serving up cream cakes and jam tarts, while Of Cabbages and Kings will be selling jammy dodger necklaces that you can wear!

We will be showcasing Ali Miller’s new range of surreal Victoriana-style bone-china tableware alongside beautiful ceramics from By-Louise and Hanne Rysgaard, and other humorous homewares by London-based designers Crumpet and Skirt, Stuart Gardiner and Saranotsarah.

Biba’s Tea Party who has been helping us bring to life a fantasy nonsense world of pocket watches, chess boards, playing cards and talking cats will also be there on the day painting white roses red! Come along and make your own rose!
